Tyler Seidenberg studied piano with Susan Mander and voice with Linda Fletcher, received his A. Piano Perf. from CNCM, studied advanced music theory and digital audio production at Azusa Pacific University in California, and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.Mus. degree from McMaster University. He graduated with honours from the audio engineering program at Number 9 Recording Studios in Toronto and received his B.Ed. from OISE - University of Toronto.


A seasoned performer, Tyler has performed/ministered for twenty years all over North America on television, radio, and at numerous conferences, churches, and live events. He toured throughout North America with the GMA Canada Covenant award-winning Christian music groups God Rocks! and Carried Away. He has also ministered with Catholic artist Joe Zambon and Canadian duo A Guy and a Girl at various conferences such as Steubenville Toronto, Steubenville Atlantic, and Diocese of Hamilton youth rallies. He continues to lead worship and offer freelance music services mainly throughout the GTA as his responsibilities as a father of five keeps him close to home.



Tyler is passionate about learning and education. With over 15 years of teaching experience, he has spoken to thousands of students all over Canada whether in private lessons, workshop tours, schools, group lessons, online tutoring, or social media. He is the creator and publisher of the ty'SOLOS and tyDUETS music book series. The success of this fun and engaging piano series helped lead to him being invited to speak at many teaching studios and music events across Canada associated with multiple organizations (RCM, ORMTA, CNCM, MYC, CC, and OSA). He is also an adjudicator for the Peel Music Festival, Oakville Vocal Arts Festival, and Hamilton Music Festival.


Tyler is actively involved as a teacher and music minister within the Diocese of Hamilton and Halton Catholic District School Board. He serves as the music minister for liturgies at St. Ignatius of Loyola Secondary School and assists at various parishes including his home parish St. Matthew’s when needed. He also serves as the director of worship at EPC in Oakville.


Tyler is the creator of two YouTube channels that educate through music: "Catholic Songs for Kids" makes memorizing Bible verses fun and easy for the whole family, and "Mr. S." teaches various subjects (such as music theory and religion) through rap. CONTACT TYLER
